University of Hawaii at Hilo sophomore Dalen Yamauchi closed with a 5-over 76 to move up into a tie for 76th at the NCAA Division II golf championships in Hershey, Pa.

Yamauchi’s best round of the tournament featured two birdies, a double bogey and five bogeys. The Waiakea High graduate finished at 20 over 233.

Florida Southern’s Tim Crouch (2-under 211) won a three-way playoff to claim the individual title. The Moccasins were also the top seed among the eight teams that advanced to match play.
